A disastrous accident at the Cern particle accelerator caused a dimensional rift to form with the result of a tourist bus being merged with a common ordinary garden centipede. The resulting monstrosity has a voracious appetite, and prays on the unwary at tourist centers, amusement parks, and public events. He also tends to ignore traffic laws whenever he feels like it.
