Pazuzu was an Assyrian storm god and king of demons. He is usually represented in a human like form, with a dog's or lion's head, a serpent's or scorpion's tail, horns, and two pairs of wings. In ancient times he was often invoked to drive away other demons, most notably his arch nemesis the Lamashtu. He is often depicted with his right hand in the air.
Pazuzu is the demon who possesses the girl in the 1971 movie "The Exorcist."

ReplyDeleteregarding the movie, P'zuzu is never named there, and I think it was done to let most people think it was the actual "Devil" himself.

ok My feonce had a experience with something like or is a Pzuzu. He said that he was in his room asleep and he woke up suddenly. He looked out into the hall and looked at a picture of his youngest son, Instead it was a demon looking out of the picture like it wanted out. He told me that this deman had a head of a dog, horns, and a body of a human. He didnt see all of the demon. It scared the crap out of him and shut the door. He stayed in the bed but couldn't sleep. ever since then I have this weired feeling and the boys wont stay in a dark room. they run in and out of the kitchen like something is going to get them. If you know any more about this demon it would help us alot.
