Vicious, tentacled aliens, bred for gladiatorial fights. The Pollyoptris has no intelligence to speak of, it's only motivation is food. If not fed regularly it will fall into violent rages and attack anything that moves. They are hatched by the hundreds in space faring incubator ships, and sold to the highest bidder.
